Every month we will schedule an event and a training program. We invite you to join us virtually wherever you may be and anytime you wish.

January Resolutions with Pathfinder USA
Join for free this month. This will keep you on our mailing list.
We are preparing our Back to the Path celebrating the end of hunting season.
We will be organizing live hikes and Run/Walks on Saturday at a diferent path (trail) each week.
We recomend signing in with the free membership so that we can send you weekly notice on where we will meet or you can join us virtualy wherever you like.
Registering for membership will also give you access to the training program. We will ask you a few questions about what you are doing currently and what would you like to build up to. We will suggest where you should start your program and how you can reach your goals.
Our events are very low key and no frill events designed to measure your base level. We suggest that you register for an event at your minimum distance to provide a sample of where you are right now. You should walk or run at a relaxed pace at a distance that you are comfortable with. This is not a race! Once we determine your base, we will suggest a training program. Each month you should test yourself and see how much you improve. We will evaluate and progress to your next month’s training program.
Join the program and share with runners and hikers across the USA and perhaps, the world.
Join us in your own back yard, or join us when you travel. Use our app to track your run walk or hike. Take pictures! Tell your story on our Facebook Posts.
We will include you in our local, live events and share with the world.
Start a local Pathfinders Group in your community and share with us.
What are your resolutions/goals for yourself and/or your community?

When you are ready, record a relaxed 1M walk or run and we will compare to your questionaire and work up a program for you.
Each month, record a workout and we will evaluate and send you a program for the next month.

About Peconic Pathfinders:
Many of our local paths and trails are closed in January for Hunting. Many of us may be traveling.
Share your runs and hikes wherever you are.
The Peconic Pathfinders was formed to encourage hiking and running and to find the lost and hidden paths in the Peconic River Headwaters and Pine Barrens.
We maintain trails in the Robert Cushman Murphy County Park and provide guided hikes and trail runs almost every Sunday.
Every month we will schedule an event. If you can't join us locally, we invite you to join us virtually wherever you may be and anytime you wish. Anywhere in the World! Some events are very low key and no frill events and some we hope will become huge national and world wide events with awards, tee shirts and all the frills that live and virtual events offer.
We are looking for a few Sponsors/Vendors/Contributors to provide seed money to fund our events. Peconic Pathfinders is non profit. All Contributions after expences will be donated to organizations the benefit local, regional and worldwide organizations dealing with hunger, and environmental issues.
Volunteers needed. Who would like to be on our event committee? Or our local events?
Our Earth 2024 celebration will be help locally and virtually and tour Eastern Suffolk with Guided Hikes, Runs and competitive events atarting February and gearing up to our Main Event in April and continue throughout the year.
I am writing to invite you to participate in our upcoming environmental conservation event, which will be held in April at Calverton. Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and to promote sustainable practices. Think Global, Act Local
We believe that your organization shares our values and goals, and we would be honored if you would consider sponsoring, volunteering and participating in our event. Your support would help us to make this event a success and to reach a wider audience.
We are inviting local businesses and nonprofit environmental organizations, vendors, exhibitors to engage and enlighten the public with hands-on activities for adults and kids alike.
Our goal is to excite people in the region about practical ways we can ALL make a difference in reducing our impact on the environment.
As a sponsor, your organization would receive recognition in all of our promotional materials, including our website, social media channels, and event signage. You would also have the opportunity to set up a booth at the event to showcase your organization's work and to connect with attendees.
Your sponsorship will help fund the following: Permits • Marketing • Port-a-john rental • Food and Refreshments • Water Stops • Awards • Tee Shirts • Timing • Event Management • Insurance
All organizations contributing cash, services, or an in-kind donation of $250 value or more will be listed on our website sponsor page and a 10X10 Space.
Contributors of $500 value or more will be listed on both the Home and Sponsor page.
Funds will help us get started with smaller events leading up to our main event in April.
Contributors will be displayed on all events up to our April Event when we will consider a May event.

Then, on Sunday, March 20, join us on a guided hike in the Robert Cushman Murphy County Park as we get ready for Earth Day!
Peconic Pathfinders will be taking to the trails! We need help. Old trails and new trails need to be cleared. All trails need to be marked. We will be working on creating and maintaining trails in the Robert Cushman Murphy Peconic River County Park. I'll be out inspecting trails and doing some cutting every wed. at 9am.
Earth Day Weekend we celebrate the accomplishments of Robert Cushman Murphy and the park that was named after him.

The Peconic Pathfinders was formed to encourage hiking and running on the east end. Based in Calverton and Manorville, we are in search of new and existing trails in the pinebarrens and the East End from Brookhaven east.
You are invited to join us on our Discovery Hikes as posted on our Facebook group and page.
Runners can join us virtually or in small groups and on your own at the Veterans Memorial Path in Calverton.
